The Camelia Bands consist of the "Camelia Latin-jazz Trio" (or Quartet) and the "Camelia Latin Dance Quartet" (or Quintet). The Latin jazz trio performs instrumental (no vocal) music and has an "American" version that plays jazz standards but with Latin rhythms (salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbia & bolero), and a "Spanish" version that plays popular Spanish songs but with Latin-jazz arrangements. The Latin dance quartet has vocals and specializes in Latin classics and oldies in the salsa, merengue, cumbia and bachata styles, and is more appropriate for dancing and other lively occasions.
